Mark A James Sr.

Pastor Mark A James Sr. has been a member of Bibleway Christian Center since 1980 growing up in the ministry under the leadership of Senior Pastor Willie S James. He started as a young drummer for the music ministry, expanding his love for music to include playing the bass and keyboard. He participated in the Youth Choir, Adult Choir. He also was a member of the Golden Angels and God’s Chosen.

Pastor Mark’s love for music allowed him to be elevated to Minister of Music in 1997, the same year in which he was called into God’s ministry. Pastor Mark received his ministry license in December 1999, he was ordained Assistant Pastor in 2001, and then Pastor of Bibleway Christian Center June of 2003 under the tutelage of Senior Pastor James.

Pastor Mark James has been blessed with three beautiful children, Kristian Dodson, Genesis James and Mark James Jr.

Pastor Mark James journey still continues even though he has moved to Lexington, South Carolina, but he knows God has work for him to do, he understands the importance of reaching one soul at a time. Pastor Mark is currently in search of a location to begin Bibleway Christian Center South Carolina. God told Joshua to be of good courage, and Pastor Mark’s continued prayer to God is to give him the wisdom and knowledge to lead great people who are willing to spread God’s Word.
