Lois James

Born in Alabama, Lois relocated to Boston in the early sixties. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Willie James. To their union God blessed them with five children, Tara, Mark, Keisha, Kristopher and Shekinah, later adding another son, Tim.
Lois accepted the Lord in 1971 at the Way of The Cross Church, where she was later ordained as a minister in 1975. It was then that she truly began to understand the calling and servanthood of her Christian journey.
In 1980, her family left the Way of the Cross Church due to her husband’s call to Pastorship. It was here that Bibleway Christian Center began. She has been honored to serve at Bibleway for the last 40 years in many capacities and has touched and supported every ministry. But her greatest work has been to serve beside her husband of 55 years in his endless work of reaching out to win souls to the Body of Christ. The journey has and continues to be sacrificial but one that God has called them to and one they embrace.
Currently, Lois is an Elder who is available to willing to offer both spiritual and supportive encouragement to the youth, individuals, married couples and whoever is in need.
She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston, with a degree in Legal Education.
Through all of her accomplishments the two she feels are her greatest: (1) her ability to continuously counsel and share the Word of God with her children in their time of need, while helping them to advance their spiritual walk, and (2) her willingness to be a part of the dynamic team that she and her husband make as he leads as visionary and she serves as implementer. A relationship that only God could join together.
Lois continues to walk in Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose”
